The WEST Summit aims to catalyze a sea change of action to create long-term regional resiliency to climate change. As a part of this effort, SSV is hosting an art exposition that will help to inspire positive change during this pivotal time and visualize a more sustainable future.
Calling on Artists for Sustainability
SSV invites both professional and amateur artists to submit their work with
the goal of inspiring others to reconnect with the sources of life, water and
energy that allow our economy, environment and society to function sustainably.
We seek a wide variety of art forms, such as: paintings, drawings, collage, prints,
fiber art, ceramics, glasswork, sculpture, animation, digital art, photography,
poetry, music, dance or whatever other media you are inspired to use.
- All submissions that are accepted will be displayed in a digital
gallery on the Sustainable Silicon Valley website. - A smaller collection of selected pieces will be projected digitally
during and in between speaker presentations, and also turned into
a YouTube video. - A few key pieces, with artist’s consent, will be physically displayed
throughout the Summit conference center. Art will be shown with artist
acknowledgment attached.
