Transformational change in the way our region delivers and uses energy and water is on the horizon. The opportunity is huge. The payoff, a resilient Silicon Valley and new global markets for technology, is even greater…
Please join us for three important panel discussions, a lively exposition and lunch in this day-long event. The goal of the WEST Summit is to catalyze a sea change in action towards long-term resiliency in Silicon Valley through the distributed management of our water and energy supply. It will be a pivotal opportunity to build relationships with local business and community leaders already taking action on the important nexus between water and energy usage.
Participants will:
- Discover what peer organizations are doing in the domains of energy and water conservation and distributed management, and the relationship between them
- Understand how to apply the principles of industrial ecology to urban water cycles with a focus on the H2O/energy balance and economics
- Connect with other organizations to energize conversations and begin to implement strategies for catalyzing systemic transformation
- Learn the ideas and technologies necessary to get their organizations to commit to measure and reduce their water and greenhouse gas footprints
- Explore complementary and diverse products and services at the exposition
